The future is mobile
Mobile Future, a one-day event in Amsterdam on May 31st, will examine the potential of UMTS as a sustainable design opportunity. Organised by O2 Netherlands (they have a remarkable website), the Dutch network for sustainable design, in cooperation with Infodrome, the Dutch govenment's think-tank on societal changes resulting from ICT applications, the event features presentations by Annti Laaperi (Vice-President at Nokia Mobile Phones R&D Strategy Planning) and Josephine Green (Director of Strategy and Trends at Philips Corporate Design). A panel of experts will lead a debate on societal consequences and opportunities for optimisation.
