AT&T Wireless (NYSE: AWE) announced today that it has entered the Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b) market with the introduction of GoPort(SM), a high-speed wireless data service designed to keep mobile professionals connected to their corporate information while away from the office. The company also said it has reached an agreement with Wayport, a leading Wi-Fi service provider, to allow roaming on that company’s Wi-Fi networks in airports and hundreds of hotels across the United States.
